We are currently looking for a Designer to join our team.  This position performs design work for a single major project or several minor projects, simultaneously. 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Converts project information (e.g. specifications, general sales order information, data sheets, etc.) into drawings and other documentation that manufacturing then uses to produce a product.
  • Identifies deviations in job scope, estimates magnitude of changes, and notifies the appropriate parties.
  • Assures that design continuity is maintained throughout the entire project.
  • Ensures communication flow, both verbal and written, is maintained within engineering and with other design and engineering disciplines.
  • Executes quality control procedures.
  • Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position
  • Overtime may be necessary and required and is dependent on workload.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies)

  • Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of various fabrication methods and installation procedures.
  • A broad understanding of a wide spectrum of materials, their characteristics and their tolerances and limitations.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer I.  This person will be responsible for multiple lower-level projects or a single large project that support the business through designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems

 

Summary

The Electrical Engineer I is an entry level engineer who is responsible for multiple lower-level projects or a single large project that support the business through designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems.  This position develops and implements control logic programs, schematics and panel designs through a variety of software programs with the oversight of a Lead or Electrical Engineer II.   The Electrical Engineer I is also responsible for validating the electrical design for reliability, performance, and safety standards. 

                                

Essential Job Functions

  • Electrical design activities to support the product line.
  • PLC/PAC/OIT troubleshooting activities.
  • Instrument configuration and programming as required to complete projects.
  • Assist electrical team in conduit routing and installation details as required to complete department projects.
  • Documentation activities to support the business needs which may include development of various operating instruction or manuals.
  • Electrical, mechanical, and process installation and troubleshooting of simple projects to support the business.  This may include the use of hand tools, gauges, multi-meters, and other measurement devices. 
  • Collaboration with customers as required to promote successful project execution, including but not limited to discussion with customer engineers and FAT Protocol execution.
  • Quotation development to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Technical collaboration with other professional disciplines to support the business.
  • Ensures lessons learned applied to future efforts.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with 3 phase power applications, distribution and use.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the development and implementation of automated control systems.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with solid state electronic component application.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with using P&ID’s to design process control systems.
  • Experience with integration of wide range of process analytical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design, AutoCad preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in a service orientated environment with troubleshooting capabilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.

Base Compensation Range: $63,735 - $99,688 annually
Variable Compensation Range: Incentive bonus eligibility up to 10% of gross annual salary base on company performance (as of 2024).

The Project Manager Supervisor is responsible for planning and managing multi-faceted, complex projects throughout the organization while ensuring the projects are delivered within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards that meet the customer’s expectation. Leads, trains, and develops other Project Managers in projects throughout the organization. Develops, improves, and executes project management tools and processes that will strategically support organizational growth and development. May supervise a small number of technical disciplined direct reports

  • Responsible for coaching, teaching, and supervision of assigned personnel.

  • Maintain routine direct contact with the customer throughout the contractual agreement until the order has been successfully completed. This includes tasks associated with accounts receivable ensuring timely payments are received, warranty claims, timely updates to the customer about their project, change order management, and schedule communication. 
  • Responsible for estimating tasks involving change order costing, make/buy analysis, and comparison of alternative design and manufacturing decisions. 
  • Demonstrate and execute functional acumen to support solutions that address any project concerns while meeting the customers’ needs and aligning with the expectations of the industry associated with the work.   Leverages knowledge of and trains Project Management methodology, skills, and tools to other Project Managers. 
  • Oversees transition of project team members to new projects.
  • Ensures lessons learned applied to future efforts.
  • Cross train and flex to estimating responsibilities as required by product line needs.

Base Compensation Range: $87,606 - $142,218 annually

Variable Compensation Range: Incentive bonus eligibility up to 10% of gross annual salary base on company performance (as of 2024).

This position assists with all daily DFE/RP Service Department responsibilities, including but not limited to verbal and written technical customer assistance, technical training, and technical collaboration with Mueller’s DFE/RP internal/external customers. Includes writing and/or updating technical service manuals, service bulletins, replacement parts pages, and warranty administration, claims processing and documentation. •    Provide superior technical customer service by resolving service and product reliability related issues in a prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable manner as received from Dealers, Regional Sales Managers, Internal and External Customers, and DFE/RP Management. Includes documentation, delegation, review, and follow-up with the Dealer and/or End User, Production, Engineering, Product Development, Purchasing, Vendors, and Sales Management.
•    Individual must develop and maintain a competent and ongoing knowledge of the technical operation of the DFE and RP product lines, which includes electrical, refrigeration, and dairy sanitation regulations.
•    Assist in conducting DFE Service Training Seminars, including facility maintenance, equipment installation, developing training agendas, materials, presentations and visual training aids.
•    Initiate and maintain DFE/RP Service materials in an updated and current manner. This includes Installation and Service Manuals, Service Bulletins, and Technical Training Aids.
•    Assist customers with warranty issues in accordance with Mueller’s written warranty policies and procedures.
•    Administer warranty program, including processing claims, maintaining documentation, and communications with customers and vendors regarding warranty issues.
•    Cooperate, assist, and add value to Sales/Service business relationships with internal and external customers in a competent manner.
•    Provide on-site support for both DFE and RP products lines as needed.
•    Assist production teams in identifying and resolving quality issues as needed.
•    Attend and contribute to open book management.
•    The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

The Service Technician is responsible for customer satisfaction through direct contact with our customers to fulfill their technical service requirements. This position collaborates heavily with our Sales/Service Departments to promote future equipment, parts, and service sales. 

                                                                                                                                

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide onsite technical assistance to customers which includes but is not limited to new machine site acceptance testing, start-up commissioning, customer training, service contracts, warranty, and billable work. 
  • Promote sales of new equipment, parts, and service by gathering pertinent information on customer’s needs and projects.
  • Report daily service contact and activities with customers via service reports, e-mails, and telecommunications to the Service Manager.
  • Report daily job related expense activities to the Service Manager as required and per company policies.
  • Perform Pre-FAT’s and FAT’s (Factory Acceptance Tests) and assist manufacturing operations when not traveling.
  • Responsible for making travel arrangements (rental car, airfare and hotel accommodations), utilizing the company’s assigned travel agency and per company policies, with little to no supervision.      
  • Develop support solutions for customers through partnership with a Senior Service Technician to ensure the customers’ needs are met.   
  • Leverages knowledge of Senior Service Technician in regards to methodologies, skills, and tools.
  • Perform site evaluations of equipment for customer and/or business unit.               
  • Care for and maintain tools, tool boxes, and calibrated diagnostic tools.
  • Obtain and maintain current OSHA 10 certification at a minimum. 
  • Obtain and maintain current safety training certifications and licenses, such as LOTO, Motorized Equipment (forklift, aerial lifts), PPE, Fall Protection, etc.
  • Travel to customer locations including international travel will be 75% minimum and up to 90% during peak demands.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Ensures lessons learned applied to future efforts.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain company provided cell phone and laptop computer and abide by company internet policies.
